Gemeentelijke Ombudsman Ulco van de Pol in Amsterdam heeft onderzoek gedaan naar de wijze waarop de Amsterdamse Dienst Werk en Inkomen de re-integratie van haar klanten uitvoert. Hij concludeert in zijn rapport dat het proces van re-integratie met name door problemen met de trajectkeuze en een opeenstapeling van gebrekkige communicatie, moeizaam verloopt.

Aanbevelingen
De ombudsman verbindt een aantal aanbevelingen aan het rapport. Hij stelt diverse maatregelen voor met de strekking het trajectaanbod overzichtelijker te maken, de communicatie tussen alle partijen en de verslaglegging te verbeteren en duidelijke afspraken te maken over de klachtbehandeling.
